Sterile and reliable
The BMRF magnetic agitator is designed for installation at the bottom of the vessel, enabling extended operation times without the risk of microbial contamination. Unlike conventional mechanical seal solutions, the hermetically sealed magnetic drive eliminates critical ingress points and reduces maintenance requirements.
Impeller configuration
Impeller type and quantity are tailored to the application. The standard setup includes two or three impellers mounted on a single shaft using sanitary clamping or fully welded connections. The agitator shaft is supported by robust product-lubricated radial bearings, enabling the use of long shafts without requiring upper support bearings.
From lab to large scale
The BMRF series is available for a wide range of vessel sizes, from small-scale laboratory fermenters to large cell culture bioreactors. For high-volume production, the BMRF XXL models are capable of handling vessels up to 30,000 liters.
