Avoid glare and diffused lighting
Canty sight glasses can be equipped with powerful, cool lighting that efficiently illuminates the interior of the tank without causing product heating.
The fiber-optic LED light is mounted directly onto the sight glass, which eliminates glare and diffused light. This ensures a sharp, clear view into the tank, allowing operators to closely monitor the process at all times.

Flexible connection options
The lighting can be supplied with a variety of connection types, including flange, sanitary, and NPT fittings—making it easy to integrate lighting into existing process equipment.
The LED unit can also be retrofitted to existing sight glasses—even those not originally supplied by Nordic Engineering/Canty.

Durable materials
The light housing is built from robust materials such as stainless steel 316L, Hastelloy®, and a nickel alloy variant, ensuring long-term durability and reliability.
It is available in both a standard industrial version and a sanitary version, ideal for use in food and pharmaceutical applications.

The LED light is available in both environment-resistant and explosion-proof (Ex) configurations.

Ideal for multiple applications
This process light is especially well suited for a wide range of applications, including process tanks, pressure vessels, and sterilizers.
It can operate under full vacuum and up to 690 bar pressure, and is available with ATEX certification for use in hazardous areas.

Maintenance-free lighting
The LED light source is completely maintenance-free. Canty offers a five-year warranty on the LED, making this a cost-effective and worry-free solution for reliable tank illumination.
