3-, 4-, and 5-way multiport ball valves for industrial applications
IMI PBM’s 3-, 4-, and 5-way multiport ball valves are true multiport solutions featuring tight connections at every port. This design makes the valves ideal for applications requiring flexible flow paths and changes in flow patterns.
Efficiency and cost reduction
In many applications, a single multiport ball valve can replace up to four standard 2-way valves within a piping system. This simplification lowers costs and makes flow control easier. Additionally, the compact design facilitates installation even in confined spaces.
Unique Adjust-O-Seal® feature
The valves incorporate IMI PBM’s unique Adjust-O-Seal® technology, which allows for in-line adjustment to compensate for normal seat wear, ensuring reliable sealing over time.
Advanced features and robust design
IMI PBM’s multiport ball valves are rated for full vacuum. Full upstream and downstream sealing enables complete cleaning, flushing, and drainage of the valve body, enhancing hygiene and preventing residue build-up. The stem assembly is actuator-mount compatible, allowing precise adjustment and extending valve service life.
Optimized flow and reduced pressure drop
With a full bore design, the valves are engineered to minimize pressure drop, making them suitable for systems with high flow efficiency demands. Available sizes range from ½” to 4”.
Options for safety and control
IMI PBM’s multiport ball valves can be equipped with packing material that reduces cavities behind the ball, minimizing dead zones where media may accumulate and potentially contaminate the process. A comprehensive range of automation and control options is also available, providing flexibility and precise control for all types of applications.
