High-performance units
The EKATO KOAX coaxial agitators are designed to handle complex mixing challenges and are suitable for media with high or variable viscosity. This series consists of powerful units equipped with two universal agitator systems, each operated independently. The impeller systems can be combined based on the specific process requirements, for example, an EKATO PARAVISC with an EKATO VISCOPROP or a dissolver. Scraper systems are also available for cleaning the vessel wall and bottom during mixing.
Suitable for all types of mixing tasks
This is a highly versatile, modular system that can easily be adapted to changing process conditions. The KOAX series is capable of handling all key process steps, such as homogenisation, suspension, dispersion, heat transfer, solids breakdown, or combinations of these. The agitators can be equipped with a range of shaft sealing options, including lip seals, stuffing boxes, and double-acting mechanical seals.
Additional services
Laboratory tests using original customer products can be carried out and analysed in EKATO’s state-of-the-art laboratory facilities (ELA lab and pilot reactors). EKATO’s process experts assist in configuring the optimal mixing system to match specific process needs. Services also include CFD studies, finite element analysis, and scale-up to full industrial applications.
