Efficient design for sanitary tanks and vessels
IMI PBM’s 2-way tank bottom valves are particularly suited for sanitary tanks, vessels, and reactors. The angled valve body provides space for an actuator, making them ideal for vessels with jackets or insulation.

Optimal sealing and drainage
The valves operate with a quarter-turn open/close action. The internal seat design ensures a full seal, allowing thorough cleaning, flushing, and draining of the valve body.
Encapsulated valve body gaskets reduce recesses where media could accumulate, minimizing the risk of process contamination.

Safe and flexible operation
The valves feature a stainless steel handle with a vinyl coating for a secure grip. The handle position provides a clear visual indication of whether the valve is open or closed, and can be supplied with a patented locking handle. The unique weld-in flange ensures effective drainage and reduces residue build-up above the ball.

Sanitary and adaptable design
The valves comply with ASME BPE standards and are available with various mechanical surface finishes as well as electropolishing.
Optional purge and drain ports and valve body fillers can be added to further reduce the risk of media retention and process contamination.

Durability and precision
Featuring True-Bore®, the valves ensure a bore size that matches piping and connection hoses for optimal flow control. The Adjust-O-Seal® function allows in-line valve adjustment to compensate for normal seat wear. Additionally, the valves are rated for full vacuum conditions.
