Shut-off device
The ES series is equipped with a mechanical shaft seal that ensures a leak-free and safe process. Depending on application requirements, the sealing system can be supplied as either a single or double mechanical seal. An optional shut-off device allows the shaft seal to be replaced without having to drain the tank, reducing downtime and saving on maintenance costs.
Design and application
EKATO ES agitators are designed for horizontal installation on the tank wall, offering an efficient and space-saving setup. This side-entry configuration is ideal for large tanks where top-entry installation is not practical. The ES series is suitable for both atmospheric and pressurised vessels, handling pressures from atmospheric up to 7 bar, which adds flexibility for processes that require mixing under varying pressure conditions.
