Swing-type agitators

For tanks of all sizes
The EKATO ES 2000-SW agitators with mechanical shaft seals are designed for oil storage tanks of any size.
The agitator shaft is sealed with a single-acting product-lubricated or a double-acting liquid-lubricated mechanical seal according to API 682 – modified for agitator applications.

Swing function
These agitators can be swung to adjust the pumping direction.
This can be configured either with a manual swing mechanism or, optionally, with automatic control via DCS (Distributed Control System).

Shut-off device
The agitators are equipped with a shut-off device that allows for quick and easy maintenance or replacement of the mechanical seal while the tank remains full.

Easy servicing
The shaft seal can be serviced without the need to dismantle the motor or gearbox.
