Designed for abrasive and corrosive media
The agitators are equipped with the EKATO 42L mechanical seal – a single-acting, product-lubricated cartridge-type seal specially developed for side-entry agitators in FGD systems. It is purpose-built to handle highly abrasive and corrosive process conditions.

Extended service life
Each unit comes with an EKATO Wingjet impeller, which suppresses tip vortex formation to minimize impact corrosion. This contributes to a longer service life and significantly reduced maintenance costs. The impeller is manufactured from highly corrosion- and wear-resistant Super Duplex materials.

Easy maintenance
A built-in shut-off device allows for quick and safe maintenance or replacement of the mechanical seal while the absorber tower remains filled, minimizing downtime and ensuring continuous operation.
